The Transport Canada Office of Boating Safety provides vital information for users, retailers, and builders of recreational boats.  We will have a small boat to display the safety equipment required by law under the Small Vessel Regulations.  A Boating Safety Officer will be present to demonstrate the use and care of safety gear and answer questions regarding Pleasure Craft Operator Cards and vessel licensing requirements.

UBC-Stellar Sea Lion Project 11:00-11:15

Live Stellar (also called Northern) sea lion show. Reed Point Marina is home to a few of these beautiful animals. UBC is doing a study that focuses on the energy and nutritional requirements of the sea lions. We would like to invite you and your family down for an up close demonstration with them.
